Narrative

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The passenger of car sustained injuries Thursday when their vehicle collided with an 18-wheeler at a busy intersection east of I-35 in Oklahoma City.

The collision occurred around 3 a.m. at NE 10th Street and Sunnylane Road, which is northeast of Eagle Lake Park and south of Daniel J. Diggs Park.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Authorities called hazmat crews to the scene when the semi-truck, which had been carrying fuel, began to leak after the crash.

Neither driver was hurt, but a passenger from the sedan went to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
