OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Authorities have not yet released the identity of a pedestrian who was struck and killed at busy intersection in Oklahoma City on Monday morning.
Police say that around 7 a.m., a vehicle hit a pedestrian near the intersection of SW 15th Street and MacArthur Boulevard, which is north of Highway 152 and south of I-40.
The events leading up to the collision are still unclear. Police have confirmed that the driver of the vehicle did remain at the scene.
Officials blocked traffic in the area of the accident while crews worked to clear the scene.
