Narrative
TULSA, OK – Two people died, and one person sustained critical injuries two weeks ago in a two-vehicle crash along the interstate in northeast Tulsa.
The collision occurred on Saturday, December 2nd, on I-244 westbound near Greenwood Avenue, which is at the southeast corner of Oklahoma State University.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation. Police say that a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu collided with a 2007 Dodge 1500.
The driver of the Chevy, identified as 41-year-old Robert Dishong Jr., died after transport to a local hospital.
A passenger from the Dodge, identified as 42-year-old Alozo Striplin, also died at the hospital from injuries sustained in the accident.
The driver of the Dodge, 33-year-old Jonathan Sayles, went to the hospital with serious injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
