Narrative

WAYNE, OK – A two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck along a highway in Wayne killed a 22-year-0ld man Wednesday.

The accident occurred around 11 a.m. just east of US-77 at the intersection of OK-59 and Hopping Avenue.

Police say the victim attempted to pass a 1999 Ford F-250 with his 2006 Yamaha motorcycle but collided with the truck when the driver slowed to turn left on Hopping from OK-59 eastbound.

The motorcyclist, identified as Hayden Stanley, died after transport to a local hospital.

The driver of the Ford was unhurt.
