Narrative

LOVE CO., OK – Four people, including two young children, died Saturday night when their car collided with a semi along the interstate between Overbrook and Marietta.

Police responded to the crash around 6:30 p.m. on the southbound side of I-35, approximately nine miles north of Marietta. This is in northern Love County.

The accident involved a 2024 Honda Civic and a 2014 Freightliner. The circumstances of the crash are still under investigation.

Authorities say that all four people in the Honda Civic died, including a four-year-old and a one-year-old. None of them were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.

Officials identified the adult victims as 36-year-old Reginaldo Fernando Martinez and 35-year-old Marisa Sanchez.

The driver of the Freightliner was not hurt in the accident.

The investigation is ongoing.
