Narrative

CHEROKEE CO., OK – A motorcyclist died on Saturday after crashing along OK-51 in west-central Cherokee County.

The collision occurred around 12:30 p.m. just west of Hulbert on OK-51. This is northeast of Sequoyah State Park.

Police say that for unknown reasons, the motorcyclist lost control of his bike, left the roadway, and crashed into a tree, dying at the scene. Authorities identified the victim as 70-year-old Michael Webb.

There were no passengers on the motorcycle at the time of the accident.
