Narrative

ENID, OK – A 60-year-old motorcyclist died Thursday after a two-vehicle crash near the Enid Crossing shopping center in Enid.

The accident happened at 11:13 a.m. in the 4300 block of West Owen K Garriott Road, which is on the west side of the city.

Police say that the victim neglected to heed a red light and crashed his westbound 1997 Harley-Davidson into a southbound 2020 Mercedes Benz. The force of the collision threw the motorcyclist from his bike.

Medics transported the motorcyclist to the hospital, where he died from injuries sustained in the accident. Authorities identified the victim as Brent Holden.
