OKLAHOMA, OK – The driver of a red SUV went to the hospital on Friday after colliding with a pickup truck at a busy intersection just west of I-235 in Oklahoma City.

The incident happened in the morning at North Olie Avenue and Northwest 22nd Street, which is west of the Oklahoma State Capitol in the Mesta Park neighborhood.

Police say that the driver of a silver pickup truck caused the accident when he ran a stop sign at the intersection and struck the red SUV.

Nobody in the pickup truck sustained injuries, but the driver of the SUV was hurt in the crash.
