OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries Saturday when a vehicle struck him at a busy intersection in southwest Oklahoma City.

The incident happened in the area of Airport Road and South MacArthur Road, which is just northwest of Will Rogers International Airport.

Medics transported the motorcyclist to the hospital in critical condition. A leg amputation was necessary.

Police haven’t referenced any other injuries in connection to the crash. A full investigation is underway.
