Narrative
ROGERS CO., OK – One person died, and three people went to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash along the highway near Catoosa.
The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. on OK-266 near 145th East Avenue, which is just west of Bird Creek and Marvelous Farms.
The preliminary investigation indicates that a pickup truck struck a Nissan carrying 5 people when the atter vehicle attempted to make an illegal U-turn.
The driver of the Nissan, identified as Jenaro-Marcial Sanchez-Mauorga, died at the scene.
Two passengers from the Nissan went to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
