Narrative

TULSA, OK – A 2016 GMC Sierra struck and killed a female pedestrian along the interstate near South Haven in Tulsa on Tuesday evening.

Crews responded to the accident around 4:58 p.m. at I-44 eastbound and South 33rd West Avenue, which is just southwest of Robertson Elementary School.

Police say the pedestrian sustained serious injuries and died after transport to Saint Francis Hospital. Authorities identified the victim as 29-year-old Jessica Camacho from Seminole.

There’s no word yet on whether the 43-year-old male driver will face charges. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
